The Baby Bodysuit Extender is a small piece of bamboo fabric that snaps onto the bottom of any compatible bodysuit, adding length so it fits your baby for weeks longer. It was designed and is handmade by Veronica in Abu Dhabi.

The BBE comes in two snap button sizes: 9mm and 10mm. If you are unsure which size you need, measure the diameter of the snap buttons on your baby's bodysuit. Buying both sizes is recommended if you use bodysuits from multiple brands.

The 9mm snap is compatible with Manine Baby bodysuits and a selection of other brands. The 10mm snap is compatible with most mainstream brands including H&M, Mothercare, and Next. Muslin is a loosely woven cotton fabric with very little stretch. Jersey bamboo is a knitted fabric with 4-way stretch — it wraps once and stays in place with no technique required. Jersey bamboo is also softer, thermoregulating, and hypoallergenic. The Manine Baby swaddle blanket is jersey bamboo, not muslin, which is why it behaves completely differently when you wrap your baby.

Bamboo fibres create an incredibly soft fabric, perfect for sensitive skin. All Manine Baby fabrics are made from 95% bamboo viscose for maximum breathability and 5% spandex for great stretch. Bamboo is also thermoregulating — it keeps your baby warm enough in air conditioning and cool enough in UAE heat.

OEKO-TEX is an independent international certification that tests textiles for harmful substances. Every Manine Baby product uses OEKO certified dyes, meaning they have been tested and confirmed safe for contact with newborn skin. It is not a marketing claim — it is a requirement we set for our manufacturer from day one.

No. The fabric can sometimes develop marks or indentations from the way it is steamed and folded during packaging. These marks are not defects and will disappear after the first wash.

Bamboo viscose is a very soft and delicate fabric. Pilling is caused by abrasion on the surface of the fabric — for example, rubbing against other fabric types during a washing cycle. To avoid pilling, wash with like fabrics (bamboo only), separate from zipped or buttoned garments, and hang or lay flat to dry.

All products are made from bamboo viscose. Wash on a cold and delicate cycle and hang or lay flat to dry. Please follow care label instructions carefully.

On the product page, select either "Add baby name in English" or "Add baby name in Arabic" from the personalisation option. Then enter your baby's name in the order notes field at checkout. If no name is provided, we will contact you directly before proceeding with the embroidery.

Personalised orders take approximately 3 working days to prepare before shipping.

Personalisation is available on the Bamboo Swaddle Blanket and on all bundles that include a blanket. It is free on the Welcome to the World Deluxe Gift Set and available for +39 AED on the Bamboo Swaddle Blanket and Wrapped in Love Bundle.

I deliver all over the UAE. The flat shipping rate is 20 AED. Free delivery is included on all bundles and gift sets.

I try to fulfil every order as quickly as possible, however next day delivery is not available at this time.

Standard orders normally take 3 to 5 working days. Personalised orders may take a little longer — please allow an additional 3 working days for personalisation before shipping.

At the moment I only ship within the UAE, but international shipping is something I am working towards.
